This is for you, my two best friends. The people I can tell my soul to, who can relate to me like no other, who I can laugh with to no extent, who I can cry to when times are tough, who can help me with the problems of my life. Never have you guys turned your back on me or told me I wasn’t good enough or let me down. I don’t think you know what that means to me. You have gone through so much pain and you still have time for me and I love you for listening even when you’re dying inside. And I look up to you because you’re strong, and caring, and beautiful, even though you don’t think you are. And I hope you know that I’m always here to listen to you laugh and cry and help in all the ways that I can, and I will try to be at least half the friend you are to me. I hope you know I would not be the person I am today without you, my best friend. Thanks for being the friends who’s always believed in me, who’s always understood, who’s always accepted me, who’s always cared.

Happy birthday to me! :)

Zipper dress from Goss:ps Boutique that I love =D

Nice leh?

Katherine Heigl's newly adopted Korean girl, Naleigh :)

Aloha! Yes yes, long time no see I take it?

Okay, so I lied about not blogging because I was busy. I was and even now, still having writer's block and feeling lazy to update the fantasy world I call my blog xD
So what, u gonna shoot me?! Hell no, rite? :)

Been doing the usuals, assignments, college and even managed to squeeze in a mini-holiday to Pulau Perhentian in Terengganu(photos are on fb).

Just bought tickets to Beyonce's "I Am Sasha Fierce" World Tour!!! :)excited to see her and her crew of dancers perform at the outdoor Bukit Jalil National Stadium in PJ on Oct 25, at 8pm.....will definitely start late due to Msian timing -.- Fyi, I bought the RM93 ticket lah of course, will prolly have to bring binoculars there to see her performing live when I get bored of staring at the huge-ass TVs they put up for people at the back at any concert.

Hmm, I Love You Beth Cooper was stupid, to me. Final Destination 4 was gory to the max, though the main couple was hott!!!! Shantel Van Santen = purdyy!Google her! Want to watch Where Got Ghost?, The Ugly Truth & The Orphan so badly laa!!!

I so DO NOT KNOW what I want for my 18th bd & have no clue where I want to have dinner with the girls at!!! Help?!?! So very sad ze oldest gal pal, Chan Su Ann wont be joining us as she'll be at a church camp. I'll miss ur company, my dear :(

Its so funny how in the past when I was a kid, my stomach would churn and get queasy like an old prude if I ter-watch a romance movie/scene or even read a romantic comedy. I still vividly remember ze cousin, Evie saying at one point a couple of years back that henceforth, she would only read romance novels. I remember shaking my head and silently wondering how anyone could like sappy old romantic stuff, be it books or movies. LOL. The irony of it now is, I have come to appreciate such books & movies, and although I will watch and read any genre under the sun (except fantasy,sci-fi & politics), I find myself being more appealed by romantic comedies/romance novels & romantic comedy movies. To date, I have read 10 out of the 14/15 my current fave author, Nicholas Sparks' acclaimed romance novels, all of which were impossible to put down!!!! =D So whaddya say, game to give his books a try? I highly recommend it! :)

& oh, fyi, Gossip Girl Season 3 is out! Can u visualize my ear-to-ear smile?!?! lol. Only the students of Constance and the Upper East Side gang can get away with wearing what they wear :P

I am detemined to adopt an 'ang-moh' child in the future if, God forbid, I end up marrying an Asian dude. LOL. But seriously, I plan to adopt in the future too :) Just me being random, so don't wonder & gawk too much at my wondrous ability to make u stare at the computer screen and go "Uh, why is Denise suddenly giving out TMI, and being totally random?!"

& ohhh, here I go again, did I mention how funny although impossibly crude British actor, Russell Brand can be?!?! Lol. His thick Brit accent makes his conversations a scream to watch!!! Dunno who he is, google lah! xD

Okay, serious this time. I gotta go.
Nights!
xoxo

Will Ferrell :)

"I hate, missing people so much. Somehow it makes me feel pathetic and needy, because sometimes you don't know whether it's a one or two way street".

Quote taken from Samantha's blog. Sorry I took it without your permission Sammie, I just wanted to blog about how much I AGREE with you on this statement. Sometimes I feel that I'm fighting a losing battle.

Two of my favourite comedians are Will Ferrell & Jim Carrey. They're comedic sense is just so in-your-face/downright silly & wacky! Will Ferrell in particular makes a great comedian as I love love LOVE his straight-faced humour. True, some of his wacky antics make me just cringe and feel bad for him that he has to do it in front of the camera crew, but when he does it with a straight-face and yet his joke/words come out so hilariously idiotic is when I laugh like hell.

Posting about my fave comedians next! :D

Sorry haven't been blogging for awhile now, as usual the busyness of college life, what's more now that i'm in my second semester of CIMP has taken its effect on me. I'm left wondering that 24hours in a day is most certainly not enough for me!!! Lol. For those of you who don't know, I'm taking Malaysian Studies(IDC), Organisational Behaviour/OB(business subject)& World Issues this semester. So far its been good, I look forward to the world issues class the most which is the last class of the day, because my teacher is just so fascinating and such fun to be around! :) So thank you, Miss Nancy Sutter

The latest update about how I'm doing in college would be that I joined the Culture Club of Sun-U College yesterday along with two friends of mine. The first official meeting of the club was fun yesterday, although besidews the three of us, there were only two other members. Lol. We were lucky to have 4 great teacher advisors for the club too, 3 of which I was/am in their classes. Since there were only 5 of us students to run the club, the teachers saw no reason to elect the board members yet. Oh well.

Okay gotta dash, blogging from college now btw, a friend & I are gonna try our luck to buy Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince movie tickets since we are lucky to not have any HW today. Hehe, wish us luck, heard the movie got an A- review, so hopefully there'll still be tickets for the both of us. We are prepared to sit in the front row if we must. Lol.

Ciao!

I love this family and their show to bits!!! Its so so so sad that they're in the midst of a divorce. Those adorable children, they'll be so heartbroken, especially the little ones. I hope they separate amicably for the sake of their kids and have no nasty custody battles. I pray for them, I really do.

ILY Mady,Cara,Hannah,Aaden,Leah,Alexis,Joel,Collin!!!! Please God, let them be well their whole lives.

She looks very very good as a brunette. Her dress and figure is awesome!!!

Us Malaysians should REALLLY REALLLY STOP their racism issues, its the 21st century already for heaven's sake!!! We are tarnishing our good name and image for all the world to see if this racism thing keeps on happening. Many of my college mates have questioned me several times as to why some of the Malaysians are so darn racist!?!?! I am dumbfounded as I naively thought that with the events of May 13 behind us, all of this woukld somehow be gone as well. I am not proud to be a Malaysian if all we Malaysians know how to do well is to be racist. I mean, all of us are just people, so what if we are from a different culture or background or even have different skin colours!?!!! Its not their fault if other people are darker/lighter, shorter/taller, skinnier/fatter than u are....u think they asked to be born that way!? Be more tolerant and considerate as to how your words and body language comes off to other people, think before you act.

"If you have nothing good to say, then its better you say nothing at all". Remember this.

& listen, to be able to go far in life, u NEED good spoken & written English skills, otherwise, people will look down on you. That's another myth Malaysians think is not true, hence the government's decision to not make passing the SPM English paper a requirement in order to get the school-leaving certificate. This is not asking much, all the government wants you to do is PASSSSSSSSS English 1119, is that too much to ask?!!! When u further your tertiary studies, you need to really really have an 80% grasp on the English language to go far in life, especially for those high-flying jobs, mainly because the degree itself is in English that is waaay above Malaysian government schools' level.

Heed my advice, my little ones.

Ciao, muchahas :D

DRAG ME TO HELL

Plot: Christine Brown has a good job, a great boyfriend, and a bright future. But in three days, she's going to hell. A loan officer ordered to evict an old woman, Mrs. Ganush (she's damn freaky) from her home finds herself the recipient of a supernatural curse, which turns her life into a living hell. Desperate, she turns to a seer to try and save her soul, while evil forces work to push her to a breaking point.

Joveen & I went to watch it today and boy were we in for a gorefest! The plan was to actually watch 17 Again, and I had already booked our tickets, but when we got there, we were like ahhh wth, we wanna see something scary instead, a horror movie! So we scanned the movie screen and came across Drag Me To Hell at 5pm,we were like, that's the one! :D I remembered reading in the paper that this movie got a 4/5 star rating by our local movie critiques, so I was even more gien/excited to watch it.
It was a 110 minute movie, and like I said earlier, it was a pure gorefest....there was hardly a scene where the both of us could breathe normally. The first 10 minutes already showed us a sliver of the horrors that were yet to come....

But its definitely a must-watch movie!!!!! Go with someone braver or bring something to cover ur eyes (& ears!!) with if u were scared like us. LOL.
Please don't be like the two people next to us who actually shouted for so long and loud as if they were on a roller-coaster during the gory scenes, but during the normal scenes were jabbering away...if u really have to talk, keep it down for goodness sake!!!! & those two Hollywood starlets actually removed their shoes, and propped up their worse-than-BO-smell-toes/legs on the cushions!!!!! I was already like wth when they screamed, and when they did that, I was like....goodnight!

Anywayy, I shall refrain from spoiling the movie too much for y'all, but it would be a waste to miss it. This is definitely one of THE best horror movies I've seen in my 18 years of life, but My Bloody Valentine takes the cake hands down for the goriest film I've seen so far :D Kudos to Sam Raimi, the director!

But I must say, Sunway Pyramid's ticket counter at the cinema has indeed gone to the dogs lahhh!. In the past, they were strict in ensuring 18++ shows were only watched by suitable people and vice versa, but lately, as I've been going to the cinema a number of times, I'd noticed that they don't seem to care who they issue tickets to anymore, so as long as they get their greens. What IS this?!? I was shocked when my Dad told me wee toddlers were allowed in to the recent screening of Ip Man, a Cantonese movie that is a tribute to a young Bruce Lee. The show was so violent according to Dad -.- & okay lah, I admit, one of the reasons I'm partly mad at them ticket counter people is the fact that I was soooo looking forward to proudly displaying my identification card (IC) for all the world to see should they not believe that I'm 18 this year. Well, technically, only in September, but what's a few more months right? :) I wanted to wipe the smirk off their silly faces had they not allowed me in to a 18 above movie, for the simple reason that I look younger just cause I'm short. But nooo, now they're so lenient...they let just about anybody in to any show. My damn tall 13 year old brother could have passed off as an 18 year old for goodness sake. Don't get me started on Kenneth, my 16-year-old-at-just-5 ft 8-brother.

The sound effects for other movies in Sunway's cinema have not been that good most of the time. But lo and behold, today of all days, when Jo & I were watching one of the goriest & most suspenseful movies of all time, it had to be so damn freaking good!!!! The music was sooo loud -.- There was one scary part with the crazily LOUD, suspenseful & jeng jeng jeng sound effects that made me believe I was watching a 3D movie as I felt the music was all around me. Nehh, the exorcism part, Joveen, it was so loud lahhh!!!!! I thought I'd gone deaf, hehe.

Overall, one good horror movie that i've seen in a long time, although gory. Not one for the faint-hearted unless u've got something to cover ur eyes & ears(its damn loud I'm telling you) with. Glad that I saw it and in the cinema too instead of at home, I would've turn the volume down, tak syok already!!! Not my fault if you watch at night and can't sleep/have nightmares.

Rating: 8/10

The movie Coraline is okay lah.
PS: I never want to be/meet/deal with a bank loan officer & really old men & women officially scare me -.-
